We are a full service, one stop shop for high end outdoor furniture replacement slings and installation.
In most cases, the cost of replacing slings is 50%-70% less than the cost of buying new furniture. Quality patio furniture is designed to have the slings replaced to extend its usable life. The average age of the furniture we work on is 8 years; most often, the frame’s finish will outlast the lifespan of the original fabric, so that re slinging will extend the usability and good appearance of the furniture for many years.
How we make our slings
Since fabrics and dimensions vary, slings are made to fit each piece individually. The first thing we do when we receive your furniture is measure each piece. At first appearance, your furniture may appear to be of identical dimensions, and most of the time that is true. There are important exceptions. Depending on how the sling rails are bolted to the frame, where the stretcher bars are located, and where bracing is not present, slings have a better fit when certain areas are sewn in more tightly. This is common in the bend between the seat and the back, as well as in the mid- to upper- back area. Some fabrics will pucker if they are not stretched firmly enough. There is great advantage in having the furniture available in our shop for every stage of the process, to ensure a firm, trim fit.
