We are a full service, one stop shop for high end outdoor furniture replacement slings and installation.

In most cases, the cost of replacing slings is 50%-70% less than the cost of buying new furniture. Quality patio furniture is designed to have the slings replaced to extend its usable life. The average age of the furniture we work on is 8 years; most often, the frame’s finish will outlast the lifespan of the original fabric, so that re-slinging will extend the usability and good appearance of the furniture for many years. If the finish does need to be reapplied, whether due to damage or a desire to update the look of your furniture, we can help.

Our premium finishes offer enhanced strength and UV resistance for outdoor environments. The effect is an attractive, powerful layer of protection that is long-lasting even in tough conditions. We start by disassembling to protect unfinished parts and ensure areas in need of treatment get thoroughly sanded and finished. We then move on to sandblasting, priming, and powder coating with top-quality materials. Finally, careful reassembly and replacement feet glides ensure a comfortable, stable seat that protects your floors. Your updated furniture will bring out the best in your outdoor living space.

We can powder coat other metal products too, including fences, gates, art, yard ornaments, lighting fixtures, table bases, and more.

How we make our slings

Patio chair sling are our specialty. Since fabrics and dimensions vary, slings are made to fit each piece individually. The first thing we do when we receive your furniture is measure each piece. At first appearance, your furniture may appear to be of identical dimensions, and most of the time that is true. There are important exceptions. Depending on how the sling rails are bolted to the frame, where the stretcher bars are located, and where bracing is not present, slings have a better fit when certain areas are sewn in more tightly.  This is common in the bend between the seat and the back, as well as in the mid- to upper- back area. Some fabrics will pucker if they are not stretched firmly enough. There is great advantage in having the furniture available in our shop for every stage of the process, to ensure a firm, trim fit.

We double stitch all slings. This means there are two parallel stitches on all sides. If, for any reason, one of the stitches fails, the stitch next to it will hold the sling in place. Most manufacturers single stitch. Also, as the slings age and stretch out, the weakest area is often at the edge of the seat: it can start to pull away from the stitching. When it is double stitched, the second stitch helps hold the sling in place. We use thread that is designed for the awning and marine industry. Our goal is to have the stitching outlive the fabric.

Warranty: Fabric comes with a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer. This is an industry standard even when purchasing new furniture. We offer an additional 2 year warranty. If the slings fade significantly and do not hold up, we will make it right.
